I don’t have the little tea set I got when I was 8 anymore, but I’ve never lost the feeling of it. Pouring pretend tea and feeling so fancy and special is where this whole journey began. Some of my favorite tea party memories are just like this one, sitting across from my mom!🩷

I’m so honored to share that Norma’s Traveling Tea Party has been featured in Our Iowa Magazine! 🫖💛

Thirty years ago, 8 year old me was setting up pretend tea parties that brought me joy, having no idea where that love for tea would eventually lead me. It is amazing what can happen when you take that leap of faith! Seeing where I’m at now absolutely fills my cup and I’m so grateful for this journey and so excited for what’s to come!

Huge thanks to Our Iowa Magazine for featuring my story, to my husband, my six sons, my family and to every single one of you who has supported me along the way, through the early days, the growing pains, and every tea party since. This one’s for that little 8 year old girl, and for all of you! Thank you for your support!💕🫖

What a beautiful afternoon it was, sitting around the table with three amazing young ladies for Fearless & Fancy a freshman girl’s tea party 🫖💛

We sipped tea, enjoyed delicious treats, and had the kind of conversation that stays with you. We talked through the nervousness of starting high school, dreaming out loud about their futures, and writing themselves time capsule letters that I’ll be mailing to them their senior year. (Which will happen sooner than we think! 🥹) They also wrote advice to their younger selves, as though they were already seniors looking back on today. By the end, you could just feel it, these girls are ready to walk into freshman year fearless and full of confidence. What an honor it was to pour into them!! I’m cheering them on and know they’ll do great things!

Freshman year is such a big step! It is filled with new hallways, new faces, so much change all at once. Fearless & Fancy was born from a desire to give incoming freshman girls one afternoon to slow down, feel celebrated, and be reminded that they are seen, valued, and loved before they even walk through those doors. 🫖💕
