We’re Sean and Crystal, the owners of The Retreat at Sugarhill.

Years ago, we dreamed of creating more than just a wedding venue. We envisioned a place with breathtaking views, warm hospitality, and an experience where every couple would feel cared for from the moment they booked until the last dance of the night.

In 2021, that dream became reality, and The Retreat at Sugarhill was born. Since opening in 2022, we've had the incredible honor of serving hundreds of amazing couples as they began their forever. Every wedding has been a privilege, and every couple has become part of our story.

When our own 20-year anniversary came around, we decided to celebrate with a vow renewal right here at The Retreat. We walked the same path our brides and grooms do - from getting ready in the Bridal Retreat, to saying "I do," celebrating with family and friends, and ending the evening on the dance floor.

Experiencing our venue as a couple instead of as the owners gave us a whole new perspective. We celebrated, we laughed, we felt the emotions, and yes... we even discovered little moments that could be made even better.

That experience reminded us that excellence is never a destination - it's a continual pursuit. Walking through our own day inspired us to offer even more thoughtful guidance, refined recommendations, and intentional touches so every couple who chooses The Retreat at Sugarhill can enjoy an even more seamless, joyful, and truly unforgettable wedding experience.
