10 years of marriage today 😮‍💨🥹🥰

Fifteen years ago on an August summer night, there were two college kids who unknowingly met their love of their lives. 🥹

Forever grateful we’ve created this life together and cannot wait to see what the next 10 years will bring.

5 years ago I took a chance to chase my dreams.

I was scared and I didn’t go the traditional route where I waited until my business was thriving before I left my corporate job.

Nope.

I went all in.

Put in my two weeks and used all of our savings to start JC1STUDIO.
Can’t begin to tell you how terrifying it was to risk it all while also thinking about my family.

Was it hard? Of course.

There were times we were stretching it real thin. But we kept going. We kept believing in ourselves and had a support of friends and family that rooted us on.

I cannot believe it’s now been 5 years and this dream has become one of the best realities of my life. We have so much growing and goals to continue to hit between myself and Diana, but today is a day to reflect and appreciate the work.

So thank you guys, it’s truly an honor to say “I make romance films for a living.”

It’s Joe, gracing your screens and introducing myself as I’m reaching the start of 2025 wedding season.

I gotta say, binge-watching my favorite shows while wrapped in a warm blanket really hits different during the cold months. There’s just something about the cozy vibes that makes it feel extra special during the off season.

I’ve been filming professionally for five years this year, and I can’t help but feel a mix of gratitude and nostalgia. It’s been an incredible journey filled with challenges, learning experiences, and unforgettable moments. I’ve had the privilege of working with amazing people and telling stories that resonate.

Looking back, I realize how much I’ve grown both as a filmmaker and as a person, and I’m excited to see where the next chapter takes me.

Hello everyone! My name is Joe Covarrubias. I am from Central Michigan with a passion to bring your creativity to life through film.

I am a family man with two boys and a wife of 5 years. My skills really came to life when I was a kid creating highlight reels and home videos. When we had our first son, I began making yearly videos. From there, videography and film making took off.

In 2018, I created my first Amazon Prime movie, The Unwelcoming House, which then led to my second film, The Unwelcoming House 2, in 2019. I have also created a horror short film, La Asesina, which is currently being showcased on Cinema Slice in 2020.

Now using my craft into something I can share within my community, I decided to start a videography gig working with small businesses. When you hire me, I focus on your personality and what best suits your business. I want to start up your career and/or add a new spice to it. I work with small businesses in photography, insurance, cleaning companies, and more. I want you to feel confident getting your business up and running with top quality films.
