Les Paul was a genius. And the most talented person I ever met. My wife and I would see him all the time at Fat Tuesdays during his residency. I even watched his station wagon and put quarters in the meter for him while he performed.

He offered to give me guitar lessons. I never took him up on the offer. Silly me.

The “Paulverizer” was 50 years ahead of it’s time. The Les Paul, tape reverb, four track tape recorder, and countless other things came from this man, besides the best guitar licks in history.
