More footage of Momma turtle from a different angle - she kept alternating putting one back leg down inside the nest - guiding the egg she just laid into the center of the nest. The nest is dug no deeper than her back leg can reach, and she arranges the eggs by feel to make sure she's utilizing every little bit of the nest she's dug for her little babies.πŸ₯° I'm so, so fortunate and grateful for my timing this morning.....this was truly amazing to see.

Good evening.....you all know how much I love my critters, so I have to share my excitement with all of you - I got to watch a snapping turtle laying eggs this morning on my way to work!!πŸ’πŸ’š
I keep an eye on this spot every year early in the summer. I slowed down to scope things out this morning, and there she was! πŸ€—
Nature absolutely amazes me, and I love seeing my little animal friends.πŸ₯°

One of several beauties blooming here right now....... nothing says "locally grown" like flowers that are on site & grown by me! πŸ’ Yes, I do utilize wholesale during the off season and other times throughout the growing season for supplemental reasons or special requests that don't justify the growing space - I've always been transparent about that. And I do have some backup gardens in our area - but I will never source flowers from elsewhere and pass them off as "local". You deserve the best, and that's what I strive to bring you. πŸ’β€οΈ So when I say they're grown on site by me, that's exactly what they are - planted, maintained, cut, and arranged by me πŸ‘©πŸΌβ€πŸŒΎβ€οΈ
