Last week, we had a special gathering at the shop to celebrate 20 incredible years of Marah’s! At first, we thought about going all out and making it a big event—but in the end, what mattered most was celebrating with the amazing women who have poured their hearts into Marah’s and our brides over the years.

A few of our girls couldn’t make it, and they were dearly missed… but we’re so grateful to those who stopped in to share hugs, stories, and a little walk down memory lane with us.

This is an emotional one. Twenty years ago, yes 2-0 I opened the doors to our bridal shop—just as I was beginning a new chapter of my own. I was newly engaged & shopping for my own dress. My mom stumbled upon "Elegant Bridal" in the upstairs of Isaac's Antiques (just across the street from our current shop). This is where I said "YES" to my dress with the previous owner, Paula. I never set out to own a bridal shop, but the opportunity found me at the perfect time. Now, two decades later, I’ve been married for 20 years (this October) and have three beautiful kiddos—Cal, Isla, Faye & Dolly the Doodle.

Our shop has changed & grown alongside my life. It’s been the place for so much joy & so many once-in-a-lifetime moments—not just for me, but for thousands of brides and families who have passed through our doors. Marah's truly holds a special place in so many hearts, and I can't describe what an honor it is to be the place that holds these memories for our brides & their loved ones.

The shop has allowed me to raise my family right here in the community we are so proud to call home—a place where our family has made lifelong friendships, where my kids have gone to school & have grown surrounded by love, and where I know their roots will always be.

Thank you for trusting us, and for making our shop part of your story. I’m so grateful for the last 20 years. Cheers to more years of Bridal Magic on Main Street!
