Verizon Wireless Service Outage - calling 9-1-1

There is a widespread Verizon Wireless outage that may be impacting calls for some residents.

If your calls are not connecting, you may see "No Service" or "SOS" displayed at the top right corner of you phone.

Verizon reports crews are working to restore service.

If you have an emergency and need help:

Try calling 9-1-1 first. If the call fails:
✔️Use a landline, or a phone on a different carrier if available.
✔️Try Wi-Fi calling if your phone supports it.

Text-to-9-1-1 is available. Text “911” with:
🔹 Your address and town
🔹 Type of emergency
🔹 Answer follow-up questions

💥 If you still cannot connect, and it is safe to do so, go to the nearest police department or ask a nearby resident/business to call for you.
