When your bride sends you bouquet inspiration from the legendary (the floral designer who made Kate Middleton’s bridal bouquet) you know you have your work cut out for you.
Getting the perfect blend of wired and taped cascading calla lilies with trailing green ivy took so much time and attention. Constructing this bouquet took over 3 hours! But seeing her carry it on her wedding day was absolutely incredible.

About a year ago, I decided to start showing up in the wedding industry. Start attending the networking events, building relationships with other vendors, and giving back to the people who have given so much to me. I always love a reception designed with different centerpiece options. Here we had hydrangea meadows on the head table and then a mix of compote centerpieces, candle centerpieces, and floating centerpieces. The combination of all these different styles looked cohesive all together and gave the guests a more interactive, immersive experience as they walked through the reception discovering all the little details.

In 2024, the UVA chapel was repainted “Grenada Green”, a color they determined was historically accurate to the Victorian-era Gothic structure. Those of us who do weddings there all the time were a little nervous but I absolutely love the color. It turned out to fit this couples retro aesthetic perfectly.
