Education Post 🪑👩🏼🏫📝 Wedding Coordinator style:
Lets first start with what I am N O T:
❌Planner: handles the overall vision, budgeting, and vendor selection from the beginning. Manages the entire process. 💲💲💲
❌“Day-of” Coordinator: I do not just show up day-of nor 1 to 2 weeks suddenly become involved in the wedding plans.
I A M:
✅ Simply put, a wedding coordinator (not “month-of, day-of”) those titles don’t describe me, what I do, nor who I am to my couples!
You plan your big day, what YOU want, guest list, budget, dress shop with your important people, pick out your color scheme. Do all the fun envisioning your big day and what that can be!
Choose your vendors:
you want your Uncle Ray-Ray with his boombox to be your DJ, okay…But wouldn’t recommend!
You want your best friend from high school to be your photographer because she just got a Canon for Christmas, okay…wouldn’t recommend on your wedding day though!
—I’m going to tell you the truth and offer advice along the way!
I do have a list of vendors in every category I recommend, all ranging In budget, skill set, and personality because no two brides or weddings are the same.
Let Uncle Ray-Ray, bossy Aunt Karen, and your bestie be your guests and enjoy the day alongside you. Hire the professionals!
My brides will attest: you can text, call, FaceTime me anytime!
We’re 13 months out from the big day so what, reach out if you need a listening ear, a sounding board to bounce ideas off, don’t know when you should send out invitations, I’m here always for my brides!
Your needs/wants become my business the moment you book me regardless of timeline.
I listen to what you envision your big day to be, I make a timeline according to your wishes and what I think best suits you two as a couple. We meet up and discuss changes to that timeline. I send it out to all of your vendors so we’re all on the same page day-of. I am the liaison between you and your vendors to limit the amount of communication you have to have leading up to the wedding day. I am at your rehearsal and manage/run your processional.
And of course I am back with y’all for the big day!
And honestly at the end of the night, you feel like family to me!
