Cruising the back roads in British Columbia with a camera and got lucky last night.

This is a Canada Lynx (Lynx canadensis) — a wild cat built for northern forests and deep snow, known for its oversized “snowshoe” paws, tufted ears, short black-tipped tail, and incredible stealth.

Sometimes it pays to take the side road from the side road.

People lived here more than 10k years ago. Always take a moment for yourself when traveling. Now I work, hopefully clear skies for night photos. Heading to plant way north of here for a week.
