All summer I’ve been telling myself to get pictures of all the dahlias. Waited till the last minute yet again. 🤪 Don’t mind the powdery mildew.

***SOLD OUT! Thank you all!***

It’s flower Wednesday! (September 30th). The cart is out at Yellow House Blooms with some lovely bouquets bursting with dahlias and a few other surprises. The summer flowers are slowing down, but those dahlias (the ones that survived the wind anyway) are going strong. Come treat yourself and/or a friend to a happy bouquet.

As always, the address is in the main bio and I will update the post when we sell out.

Harvesting greenery for bouquets and almost smushed the crud out of this. If you ever end up with one of these in a bouquet, find a safe place in your yard/garden to stash it. People pay money for these. 😉

Also… the cart will be out tomorrow (Sept. 30) look for an announcement in the morning.

***The cart is put away for today, thank you all SO much!***

It’s Flower Friday! (Sept. 18th) You all, the cart is loaded with gorgeous dahlia bouquets in all sorts of colors. Played with some gorgeous hydrangeas this week so some have those too. The colors and textures are just so pretty.

As always, the address is in the main bio at Yellow House Blooms and I will update the post when we sell out. If it doesn’t say sold out at the top, there are still flowers.

Statice is underrated in my humble opinion. I think it is considered “basic” by many, but I personally love it. It’s easy to grow, comes in lots of great colors, is super prolific, adds so much texture and interest to a bouquet, and lasts forever in the vase. It is probably the easiest flower to dry if you’re into dried flowers.

Oh… and the cart will be out tomorrow. (Friday the 18th) Look for an announcement in the morning.

It’s been a hot minute (actually 50,400 of them, give or take) since the little yellow cart has been out, so let’s see what we can make! Look for an announcement in the morning. (Sept 10th)

Cleaning some seed from the Dara (Chocolate Lace Flower) that showed up in my wildflower patch. Rubbed all the spines off with a gloved hand, a pinch at a time, then winnowed it by blowing on it in a bowl. Then I ended up wearing all the little tiny spines and my allergies immediately activated. 😆 but the cleaned seed looks all nice and tidy.

Ugh! I have not washed buckets in awhile. There’s so many! 😭😭😭 (Also… have not mowed the lawn in awhile. 🥴)

***The cart has been rolled away. Didn’t quite sell out today, but that’s okay. Thank you to all who stopped by today!***

Happy Flower Thursday (Aug. 6th)! The cart is out at Yellow House Blooms and is stocked with some REALLY floofy juicy bouquets. All the colors and textures. This will be the last cart for a few weeks, so don’t miss your chance, you deserve flowers today! As always, the address is in the main bio and I’ll update the post when we sell out.
