Say goodbye to Lockhart Farmstand 👋👩🏻‍🌾

A few weeks ago I hinted at some big changes coming in 2025 — one of those changes is our name! Lockhart Farmstand started as a humble farmer’s market booth where we sold petite bouquets of homegrown flowers— I’m so grateful for our roots in the flower farming world. As I stepped full time into wedding floristry in 2024, I found myself falling more and more in love with the creative design of lush bridal bouquets and the challenge and intricacies of dreamy floral installations. So while I’ll always have a place in my heart for locally grown flowers, my primary focus will be shifting to designing and creating florals for weddings and serving couples as they walk into marriage.

I’m thrilled to announce our new name— Lael Florals! Lael means “of God” in Hebrew and I cannot imagine a more fitting title for a business that works directly with the Lord’s creation every day 🌷

I have so much more to share about Lael, along with our prayers for this new business model. But for now, be on the lookout for our updated name on socials and a new website coming very soon!

Ending my 2024 wedding season with some special news— is officially on our favorite venue’s preferred vendor list. in Prince George, Virginia is a stunning 13 acre property with an on-site bridal boutique, , and a full barn full of gorgeous in-house decor to utilize. I could not be more excited to be back at BOK in 2025 with some of the most darling couples.

is extra special to me because it’s where I first launched my full wedding services and decided that I never want to do anything else besides serve couples through florals on their happiest days!

The McCormick family has been so instrumental in encouraging me to find my niche in the wedding world and pursue creative endeavors for the Lord. Tom, Diane, and their team of top notch coordinators and staff operate The Barns in the most admirable, joyful way and truly inspire me to be a better steward of my own business. The annual BOK wedding expo pushed me to a new level in my business and helped me network with some incredible couples— many of whom I’ve now had the privilege of creating with.

This opportunity rounds out my first season as a full time wedding florist with my services on THREE Virginia wedding venues’ preferred vendor lists.

When the color is monotone, it’s time for the textures to take center stage. Kylie’s bridal was an organic movement lovers dream— trailing amaranth billowed over the bouquet while flouncy delicate cosmos danced above the ruffled lisianthus petals and tenderly tucked in calla lilies.

Modern white weddings full of funky textures have quickly risen to the top of my favorite styles this season. And one of my favorite places to build these dreamy white weddings is at the ever so chic . I’m honored to announce that is now on Historic Whitewood’s preferred florist list.

Being a preferred vendor is a huge deal for my small business but it simply means that Sarah and Chad, Whitewood’s owners, have witnessed my wedding work firsthand and can vouch for the creative dedication I’ll bring to your biggest day. The Taylors are truly two of the loveliest people and I’m so blessed to partner with them at future weddings and events that take place at their gorgeous venue! 🪩🌿

M & J are in loooove— made for each other. It was a joy to witness their most special day and add to the beauty with my florals. This was my first time flowering at Waverly Estate and I hope to be back soon!! The staff was so welcoming and kind as they prepared for the day. Everyone from the flower girls to the grandmothers were having the best time and smiling ear to ear. So much JOY here.

First kiss feels 😘🥰🤭

We’re almost as giddy as these two to announce that has been asked to join as one of their preferred florists for weddings and events.

Mattaponi Springs is Virginia’s premier golf & event venue located between Richmond and Fredericksburg. The ceremony space is sweetly nestled on a hilltop with multiple barns and over 600 acres of beautiful surrounding property overlooking the gorgeous waterfront.
