The center offers beautiful surroundings for your wedding, reception, reunion, birthday, conference or meeting. The building is approximately 4,400 square feet with a large space on the upper floor and a kitchen, and another large room on the lower level. Call Betty Hutchison for information and reservations, 360-496-5672. Built in 1954, the Tiller Art Center contains many decorative handcrafted f
eatures. Mahogany-inlaid wainscoting surrounds the upstairs room while the floor - jigsaw cut black and white, is a replica of the floor found in King Solomonβs Temple in Jerusalem. Handcrafted doors greet you at every turn. The attention to detail and craftsmanship of the Tiller Art Center is unmistakable. Adjacent to the Roxy Theater and just down the block from the BCJ Gallery of Fine Arts, the Tiller Art Center is an instrumental element in achieving the mission of the Fire Mountain Arts Council to promote arts education and economic development in the region.
