The wait is almost overā€¦

Weā€™re excited to officially announce that Jute + Jadeā€™s Grand Opening will be Saturday, June 20th!

1900 S. Main St. | Morton IL

Itā€™s not quite finished, but we couldnā€™t wait to share whatā€™s taking shape. Watching this building transform has been an exciting journey, and we canā€™t wait to welcome you into our new home.

This move is about creating more room to growā€”more space for design projects, furniture, fresh flowers, decor, and all the behind-the-scenes work that helps us serve our customers well. Weā€™re excited for a space that will allow us to do what we love even better.

As we prepare for the move, our current location will be closed June 15ā€“19 while our team makes the transition and puts the finishing touches on the new space.

Thank you for supporting us through every season of growth. We are incredibly grateful for this community and excited for whatā€™s ahead.

One thing we are SO excited about in our new buildingā€¦ our very own design studio space. āœØ

A room big enough to finally house all of our upholstery, rug + bedding samples in one beautiful, organized space ā€” with a large design table where we can spread out plans, fabrics, finishes and meet with clients to bring their homes to life.

Weā€™re also adding a TV so we can pull up design plans and renderings for easy viewing during meetings, making the whole process feel even more collaborative and inspiring.

And just wait until you see the gorgeous sliding glass doors that will be the jewelry of this room. šŸ¤ We cannot WAIT to share it with you.

Who else is loving all the peony bushes blooming right now?? šŸŒøšŸ¤ Thereā€™s just nothing better.

If you have peonies in your own yard, hereā€™s a little tip when cutting them for vases:
āœØ Cut them before they are fully open ā€” when they feel soft like a marshmallow bud. This helps keep ants from making themselves too at home AND gives you a much longer vase life indoors.

Bonus tip: give the stems a fresh angled cut and change the water every couple days to keep them looking beautiful even longer.

Fresh-cut peonies might just be one of the best parts of spring. šŸŒæ
