It's getting darker earlier so the early game glare is almost gone!!

Trivia Night is taking over the beer garden again week! Gather your crew of 1-8 and get ready to battle brains, sip cold beer, and win fun prizes.

Another easy breezy night at Glenbrook with sixteen teams competing and at the end of it, we ended up with 8 ties! Three for first place and FIVE for third place. (Captain Kane, one of the first place finishers, was playing In Exhibition with 9 players; they would have finished third, so their extra player is Jim & The Sandcrabs gain! ;-)

The Retreat was rocking, and a half dozen teams came knocking to listen to some mashups and to translate some cover songs into English! We had visual rounds - identify the music video! - and more audio rounds - Movie Songs! Songs with Choirs! - and some regular rounds too! It was a supersized game!

Join us this Tuesday at 7:30pm (NEW SEASON, NEW TIME!) at Vintage Tavern at 342 Valley Rd, Gillette to Compete While You Eat (and Drink!) or Wednesday night at 7:00 at Glenbrook Brewery , 95 Morris St, Morristown or Thursday night at 7:00 at Diamond Spring Brewing Company at 50 Broadway, Denville to think while you drink! (Due to ongoing construction at the mall, we're pausing All Seasons Golf until it wraps up.)

Vintage Tavern has a full bar and extensive food menu. The breweries are BYO Food, so it's a great excuse to order some takeout from any of Morristown and Denville's excellent restaurants - many within walking distance!

This Tuesday, September 9th, the spotlight hits the stage at The Hilton at Short Hills as we crank the volume to eleven for a night of music trivia fun!

Think you know your Beatles from your Backstreet Boys? Your Motown from your Metallica? Your yacht rock from your punk rock? Prove it as teams battle for bragging rights, prizes - Top Prize - 10,000 Hilton Honors Points to split amongst the team! (Not a member or don't want the points? Take $50 off your check instead!) WE HAVE THE BEST TEAMS!! A torrential downpour was not enough to keep people away and sixteen teams put up their umbrellas and put their heads together and played a close game throughout which ended in a tie between 2nd and 3rd. The Shady Pines Retirement Club guessed over our target number, relegating them to third place and replacing their wet bag of snacks for a fresh dry bag. With their second place finish, Tastes Like Epcot has now scored the trifecta, and The Watson Connection continues their winning streak - two in a row!

And just like that, Wednesday is a school night again. Seventeen teams grabbed the dog, left the kids and came to play! House Trivdiot had too many players, so they split up and took 1st and 3rd place! In the middle was We Had to Pay for OUR Pizza who had to break a DOUBLE tie breaker - we asked for a number, and both teams gave the same number, so we had to invite reps up to guess a different number. Fun!

NEXT WEEK! We're back at The Retreat at The Hilton at Short Hills a week earlier than planned - September 9 at 7pm, join us for 5 rounds of Music Trivia spanning the hits from Classic Rock to Modern Hip-Hop - we've got a fun game planned!

The game kicks off Tuesday, September 9 at 7pm. They've got an amazing set of prizes too - First place winners get 10,000 Hilton Honors points and a $50 gift cert to the restaurant. Second place gets a $50 restaurant gift cert but no points, and third place gets $25 for the restaurant. Gift certs are valid for game day, so don't pay before we announce the winners!

The Hilton is located at 41 John F. Kennedy Parkway in Short Hills - right across from the Short Hills Mall. It's a full restaurant, so come in for some eats and play some trivia! The Retreat opens at 5 for dinner and drinks and we'll start playing around 7; get there when you can, and we look forward to playing!
