National Pierogi Day is celebrated every year on October 8. This delicious holiday honors the iconic filled dumplings that are a cornerstone of Polish cuisine and a beloved comfort food across Central and Eastern Europe.🍽️

One of my sweet clients was kind enough to allow me to use their picture flat grilling their pierogi in pats of butter!! What an awesome way to enjoy them!

For the 2026 Holiday season, I’ll be offering Pans To Go! I am still pondering the idea of individual Thanksgiving dinner platters depending on the need. Please reach out regarding dinner platters!!!

Hi folks!

I was asked recently if I’ve ever introduced myself to my newest clients! Some of you I get to see on a regular basis. However, there are some I’ve never met.

With that being said, I’d like to say a special “Hello” to all new followers on our Social Media outlets. Thank you to everyone who likes, shares or comments on my posts. I try my very best to keep everything up to date!

I’m Paula Sasser, the owner, chef and heart behind Paula Sasser Catering here in Morgantown, WV. (Pictured with me are Larry & Karma, two very important parts of my life. Larry helps me tremendously in love & life. And Karma, she keeps us both on our toes!)

To me, catering is so much more than just putting food on a plate. It is about creating comfort, encouraging connection, and taking the stress out of life’s most meaningful moments.

If you’ve ordered from me before, you already know one of my guiding principles…feeding people is my love language. I truly believe that nothing brings a community together quite like a scratch-made meal prepared with love and high-quality ingredients.

Whether I am catering a beautiful local wedding, setting up for a corporate breakfast or lunch, packing family-sized comfort meals, or preparing “Meals To Go” for drop-offs at The Local Market on Old Cheat Road, my goal is always to make your life easier and the experience more delicious.

Right now, my head is buzzing with excitement because I am preparing the Thanksgiving Take & Bake menu for y’all. If you want to skip the holiday stress, lines, and mountain of dirty dishes this year, let me handle the cooking for you.

Thank y’all for supporting my business year after year. Y’all mean the world to me. And if we’ve never met in person, I hope to one day!
