Whenever I can, I love involving them in what I do. From setting up hot cocoa stands to tagging along on wedding installs, they’ve been a part of this journey in so many ways. I had the chance to bring Asher with me recently to a wedding, and it was the perfect opportunity for him to see a wedding come together from start to finish. He helped process flowers when they arrived, watched (mostly 😆) as I designed arrangements, helped deliver and set everything up, and then got to enjoy the wedding itself—the full-circle moment of all the hard work.

I think he left with a new appreciation for what I do…and an even greater love for wedding cake and ordering himself sodas at the bar. 😂

It’s wild to think how much time these boys have spent in the shop with me. During COVID, they practically lived there with me while I was trying to open (originally planned for May 2020, but we pushed to August when things started reopening). There’s even a picture of me reading to them in the cubby where they spent so much time. They’re absolute troopers, and I love getting to share this world with them. 💛

Always an honor to be asked by family to flower an event, but the last of my cousin’s weddings makes this one so special. Johanna was my flower girl 17 years ago, and watching her walk down the aisle as a bride was pure joy. Obsessed with art museum weddings—especially one under a Chihuly sculpture! These fluffy white blooms added the perfect winter touch, complementing all the inspiring beauty around. ✨
