On January 9, 2025, Abbie & Matthew celebrated their winter wedding at The Ivory Mill—and Mother Nature gave them the most beautiful backdrop. 🤍

A blanket of snow, crisp winter light, warm wood tones and that cozy just-married feeling made for some truly gorgeous photographs captured by Romani Photography.

And that’s one of our favorite things about a January, February or March wedding in the North Carolina foothills…

You just might wake up to a little winter magic. ❄️

Of course, snow is never guaranteed—but when it happens, The Ivory Mill becomes an entirely different kind of beautiful. And even without snow, winter brings soft light, bare trees, warm twinkle lights and all the cozy romance that makes this season so special.

🌸 The Romantic Garden Estate Collection combined with The Blushing Garden Estate Collection 🌸

Tomorrow, Jordyn & Connor say I do at The Ivory Mill, and we’ve created two different garden looks for their day.

Their outdoor ceremony will be filled with the brighter, blushing pinks — romantic, colorful and beautiful against all of the natural greenery. Then, indoors, the palette softens into blush, ivory and buttery yellow for an elegant garden-inspired reception.

The little details may be our favorite part… vintage pink goblets, real gold silverware, soft blush place settings, and double ivory & moss green chair sashes finished with blush floral accents.

Two spaces. Two garden moods. One beautifully coordinated wedding day. 🤍🌿🌸

Behind the scenes at The Ivory Mill… 💕🌿

Our team has been hard at work today getting ready for another beautiful week of weddings — including what may officially be the largest ironing board in Burke County. 😂 Two 6-foot tables pushed together because apparently that’s what it takes to tackle wedding linens!

We’ve been ironing, steaming, setting tables and adding all those little details that make everything come together.

First up… a soft light pink & ivory wedding this Thursday 🤍🌸

And while we were at it, the team couldn’t resist doing a little experimenting with our Romantic Garden look for an upcoming wedding this Saturday. 🌿🌷✨

Two weddings. Two completely different looks. And a whole lot of work happening behind the scenes.

I’m very thankful for my team and all the hands that help turn an empty room into something special for each couple who celebrates here. 🤍

Now… back to that mountain of linens. 😂

From their outdoor ceremony beneath the trees to those quiet newlywed moments afterward, Ashley & Maro’s wedding was filled with so much personality and romance.

A little midweek wedding magic is coming to The Ivory Mill. 🤎✨

We’re getting ready for a Signature Celebration this Wednesday, and I’m loving this couple’s color palette — deep navy, warm rust, touches of gold and soft greenery.

It’s a combination we haven’t styled quite like this before, and it feels warm, romantic and just a little unexpected.

One of my favorite things about our Signature Celebration is seeing how completely different The Mill can look for each couple. They choose the colors and style they love… and we bring it all together for them. 🤍

💍 Well… The Ivory Mill has a bride of our very own! 💚

Our Sierra is ENGAGED! 🥹

And of course we had to get a few pictures with Magnolia Mae and our brand-new water tower in the background. There’s something pretty special about watching your own daughter start planning her wedding after spending so much time helping create beautiful wedding days for everyone else.

We couldn’t be happier for Sierra & Jerad and all that’s ahead for them. 💍🤍

And yes… I have a feeling planning this wedding might be my biggest decorating project yet. 😂
