Tomorrow's map for da cajun taco cookoff. Gates open at 11. Come out for some great food, a great dj, and some great live music.
📍 **Updated Event Map & Important Message** 📍
Due to a number of unexpected team and vendor dropouts over the last 24 hours, I’ve had to reformat the layout of Da Cajun Taco Cook Off and condense the event area. This was not an easy decision, but one side of the original map would’ve been nearly empty, and I want to make sure everyone who attends experiences the energy, connection, and flavor this event was always meant to bring.
The recent wave of cancellations has been heartbreaking — phone call after phone call from teams and vendors who shared they can no longer participate, many due to fear surrounding ICE and other current challenges. I want to say from the bottom of my heart: I understand completely. My heart is with every person and family affected, and this event will go on in their honor — a celebration of love, respect, and resilience in our community.
Despite the setbacks, we still have 8 amazing cook-off teams, nearly 10 food,snack and treat vendors, live music, and so much more ready to share their passion with you all. This isn’t just an event — this is a reflection of our cultures, our strength, and our love for one another.
I’ve poured my heart and soul into this — nearly 100 days of hard work, late nights, and endless dedication. All I ask is for your continued support and kindness. Please show up, bring your friends and family, and help us make this the absolute best it can be.
