This is a short video to demonstrate the process for a Drone 3D Oblique or Ortho. We program the flight route in the software on the drone. After the area to scan has been programmed the drone is launched and follows instructions from the controller. Many photos and laser range finder points are collected and loaded into the computer software. The software makes any corrections from RTK or Ground Control Points to make the outcome accurate with in a centimeter if that accuracy is needed. The software then generates a point cloud and mesh point cloud that are an exact digital copy of the scanned area. This can be loaded into CAD software for measurements or volume calculations. If we can be of assistance on your next project reach out to Chris Sims Ops, LLC at (470) 724-1503
