The focus was neutrals and lots of texture. On the day of we dealt with incredible wind gusts that almost threatened our al fresco dinner. We had a wonderful team of vendors that pulled together and made it happen for this sweet couple!

Carpenter told me early on she wanted pink! The goal was to steer away from blush and white and have fun with the color!We shifted to green also being a base color and had come in with every shade of pink she could! Thrilled to have had such an amazing army of vendors and to finally share this sweet couples big day! Check it out on the blog!

We are not big on “trends” when it comes to design. Incorporating fresh fruits and vegetables with florals and tablescapes is however a big one for the foreseeable future and we are loving it! Although floral design incorporating fruit dates all the way back to the Byzantine era… soooo we are saying it’s back in style, not a trend!

Happy New Year!
2025 will look a little different for us. We reached a decade of Jerrye Gordon Events this past fall and with that came reflection on goals and what we want the future to look like. 2025 will host fewer events for us but allow more time for family, travel and projects that truly inspire us. Cheers to a great year! 🍾

Prepping this week for our last event of the year and missing the warmth of summer!

In our house the day before Thanksgiving is the kick off day for the holidays. We will be prepping and baking while listening to Christmas music. We will end the day with hot chocolate and our first Christmas movie of the season and end the weekend with the house all decorated. It can be such a busy time of year but there is so much joy in the little things!

We love a fall wedding! For this wedding we focused on neutrals for the base in our color palette and let the flowers be our fall node. The goal is subtle hints of the season without being too literal or over the top.
