These beautiful captures are from all late summer Covid era back yard wedding. Despite all the chaos and tragedy there was a smallness and an intimacy to gatherings at that time that I really appreciated. Everything was small - small gatherings, small ceremonies and small ecological footprints; there was a true willingness and a need to work with the seasonal landscape rather than against it. For this wedding, the vessels and the arch frame were built by the groom, an architect and ceramicist - and I felt this aspect, along with the local flowers and forage, made this wedding especially meaningful.
