⭐️ This season, we honored the 100th anniversary of the Sultan of Swat’s historic 650-foot home run on October 12, 1926, at Kirby Park with a commemorative Babe Ruth Bobblecard courtesy of Geisinger.

This month, CHAMP and SWB Partnership Front Office Staff attended the unveiling of a new historical marker at Kirby Park to preserve the legacy of Babe Ruth’s astonishing hit. The marker was brought to life through a joint effort by Visit Luzerne County, the City of Wilkes-Barre, The Luzerne Foundation, and the Luzerne County Sports Hall of Fame.

October Baseball Starts Now 🍂 Wishing the Yankees and our SWB players the best of luck in the ALDS!

As a Yankees fan, going to PNC Field already feels familiar. What I did not expect was leaving with a whole new appreciation for Pennsylvania stadium food, from Old Forge pizza and crab fries to cheesesteaks, hoagies and one very Pennsylvania turkey leg.

This stop was game 75 in my attempt to set a world record for the most professional baseball stadiums attended in a single season.
