Hey everyone — Ryan with Calicoast Photography.

I had an absolute blast shooting Fast CAT with Action Dog Sports at Acton Park. Fast dogs, dirt flying, ears everywhere, a little chaos, and a whole lot of dogs sending it like they had somewhere important to be.

The galleries are live now, so go take a look and see what I caught. There’s a ton of good stuff in there.

AKC Fast CAT Acton Park this weekend, July 18–19.

We will be running both days from 9:00 am–3:00 pm, with lunch from 12:00–1:00

We will have our usual beautiful grass track with plenty of shade trees, and as always, we run rain or shine.

Day-of-show entries will be available, and we will also be offering Try It Runs for dogs that want to give it a go without entering the trial.

The weather looks like it will be in the mid 80s to low 90s this weekend, so please plan ahead for your dogs. Bring plenty of water, shade for your setup, cool coats if your dog uses them, and whatever helps keep your dog comfortable between runs.
A good way to help cool your dog down is to wet the belly, inner thighs, and neck area. This helps cool the areas where blood vessels are close to the surface and works much better than just wetting the top of the dog’s back.

Whether your dog is chasing titles, needs a fun confidence-building run, or just wants to do what dogs love to do, come spend the weekend with us.
