Cultural Events at Concordia College Join us on Concordia's campus for concerts, shows, exhibits, lectures and other artistic and cultural presentations. Many events are free of charge.

Cultural events make up a vital component of the Concordia experience, and we believe that understanding and appreciating culture shapes inspired and informed men and women who are prepared to be active members of their communities. Our upcoming season features many exciting programs, including events which are meant to inspire, entertain and inform you. You’ll find familiar offerings such as the

Faith, Reason, and World Affairs Symposium in September and the annual Christmas Concerts in December. You’ll also experience a multitude of performing arts, literary arts, visual arts, lecture series and other presentations. Our schedule includes programs by students and faculty, as well as artists and scholars from around the world. We look forward to welcoming you in the coming months!

A Taiwanese duo of identical twin brothers, Twincussion performs engaging percussion pieces with mallets and sticks in perfect synch. Whether playing Carl Orff or George Frideric Handel, contemporary classical pieces, or Taiwan's folk songs, Twincussion's Jen-u and Jen-ting Chien welcome audiences in with musical eloquence and showmanship. Patax, Spain’s premiere fusion band performing at Concordia college on Friday, April 4 at 7:30 pm in the Knutson Campus Center Centrum. Patax presents a unique version of the most iconic songs of the Beatles and Michael Jackson performed as never before, along with an unexpected mix of flamenco, jazz, and African-Cuban rhythms, creating an unforgettable musical experience. They will be joined by Concordia faculty musicians saxophonist Russ Peterson and trombonist Nat Dickey as well as guest trumpet virtuoso Kellin Hanas. Don’t miss the party! Tomorrow night, Thursday, March 20th, don’t miss it! Enjoy an evening with mime artist Bill Bowers, hailed as the most accomplished mime of his generation! Bowers is a mime who speaks, deftly interspersing narrative with stunning visual portraits. “It Goes Without Saying” takes you on a scenic tour of Bill’s life, from his childhood in Montana to outrageous jobs as a performer across the country, to the whirlwind of Broadway and studying with the legendary Marcel Marceau.
