You can now ask your race results a question. The new AI Results Agent understands the results posted on RunSignup. It can break down a performance, including splits, or compare two runners.

RaceDay Mobile 6.0.2 is out, and the big change is a direct connection to RaceDay Scoring.

Recorder Mode can now send timing reads straight to RaceDay Scoring over your local network. Scan a QR code to connect, and it reconnects on its own if the connection drops. There are also new burst photo options (3, 5, or 10 shots) and a self-timer for crowded finish lines.

Part II of our Photo Based Timing Reads walkthrough is up. It covers setting up a photo album in RunSignup and configuring automatic photo capture in RaceDay Mobile.

Photos upload to RunSignup, get tagged with bib numbers, and flow into RaceDay Scoring as timing reads. It's meant for on-course splits and finish-line backup, not to replace chip timing hardware.

Race prices have gone up five years in a row. 10Ks are up about 21% since 2019. Raising them again isn't the only way to cover rising costs.

This blog covers five ways to bring in more revenue without touching your base price. One example: a small fee for transfers and deferrals. At a race with 2,100 participants, 2% deferring at $30 brings in $1,260. It also covers adding another price tier, a no-shirt discount, and premium add-ons.
