2024 has proven to be a busy year for me. Fall is such a beautiful season here in the Rocky Mountains and I love when we start to cool down. So I am sharing some of my photographs from Fall this year. I included some high desert photos this year as well as our mountain vistas.

It's still Fall...the leaves are mostly gone. Our first snow of the season.

Fall is fabulous in the Rocky Mountains. Soon Mount Sneffels and the San Juan Mountain Range will be totally covered in snow, right now we just call it frosting on the cake. The scenery is never boring, the beauty is magestic and sharing it with great friends is the icing on the cake!

Oh it's Summer!! Our winter was long, cold and snowy, which I love, so no complaints. We had so much snow above and beyond the average for the our area, the wildflowers and cactus are so colorful and beautiful they appreciate all the extra water. This is a sampling of photos. My favorite car, the State Flower in bloom, cactus and my mountain views.

It should come as no surprise, I love snow. Winter is my favorite season of year and Christmas is my all time favorite holiday. The wild life is my constant "neighbor", there is never a day without visitors. A couple of the photos are from my backyard. But, I love to bundle up and go for a hike in the snow or go for rides and see what I can find. I enjoy sharing my Rocky Mountain home, the beauty does not get old, it is fresh and new, everyday.

Our first snow of the Fall season, the light was flat but it made for some great black and white photographs. We had good friends visiting so it was even more fun getting to spend time with them.

June 8, 2020 we awoke to 4 inches of snow. The Rocky Mountains in Colorado can be unforgiving at times. But Summer has finally hit! We enjoyed getting out and riding ATV's with friends this weekend. We saw areas of Colorado we have never seen before and to think this area is only a few miles down the road from us. The mountains are beautiful and majestic, it's hard to capture their grandeur. These pictures are from the backside or the southeast side Courthouse Mountain, Wetterlin Basin and southeast side of Owl Creek Pass.

Had to get out and do something, Cabin Fever was starting to get a grip.
