FABULOUS FOOD, MAKING IT, GROWING IT, SELLING IT Pine Cone Unlimited began as Pine Cone Catering Co.

and is curently expanding into the "Farm to Table" aspect of Food. We are planting half an acre of Organic Gardens with Vegetables, Herbs, Edible Flowers and more. We are also marketing home made Organic Fresh Cheese, and our Catering Business is going strong--we hope to utilize many of our own products this coming Summer Season, as well as market them locally.

Our big, 5 week, sleepy, mud season migration is almost here!! We will be open tomorrow and Saturday and then closed until December 2nd! Come by for quiche, loaves, dinner rolls, scones or a tasty hot meal!! We hope to see you all this weekend!!

It’s hard to believe another mud season is just a few days away! Thank you Montrose, Ridgway, Ouray, Telluride and beyond! We had another amazing season because of your continued support! We will be closed beginning next week and reopen on December 2nd. We will have dinner rolls available all week, and encourage you to pick some up and freeze for your Thanksgiving feast. We will also be out the Montrose Farmer’s market this Saturday for Ladybird’s last market appearance of the season. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! The bakery will have normal business hours all week- hope to see you there!

In a past life I was a backup singer with big hair and an even bigger attitude. In my 50s I’ll be a pilot, with a basket weaving side hustle. Right now I’m Ladybird, the baker. I’m thinking about the following: kid’s story time on the patio, soup recipes, AND a 2nd location. 😳

When I walked into this house, 13 years ago, I felt that fairytale-dream-home feeling that you see on HGTV, that seems totally manufactured for television. It was an instant obsession! When we went to list our beautiful home- after our need for extra bedrooms and a playroom was behind us, I thought for sure another family was going to walk in with that same feeling- that perfect vision of raising a family in a beautiful old home with tons of space and character. It didn’t happen and that’s beyond mystifying to me. Our listing ends in a few days and we will not be renewing. If the stars align, and that person is out there, looking for a beautifully restored turn of the century brick home with short term rental carriage house let me know. We do not plan to offer the main house as a rental, so please no rental inquiries.
