Williamsport Wedding Music is Northcentral Pennsylvania's premier provider of wedding ceremony music. Founded by Jason Hurwitz, a professional musician who previously performed with Barrage and Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy and currently performs as part of the Commonwealth Pops and Williamsport Symphony Orchestra Pops, our musicians each have de

cades of musical training, have been making music together for years, and have played hundreds of weddings. Bottom line: your wedding ceremony music will be in reliable and experienced hands. From start to finish, our goal is to provide the soundtrack you want for your wedding. Through our comprehensive consultation process, we'll get a good understanding of exactly what you want, including:

- Do you prefer the beautiful sound of a solo instrument or the more full sound of a string trio or quartet?
- Would you rather hear traditional music by classical composers or more contemporary tunes as you walk down the aisle? Or, if you're not sure what you want, we can help you figure that out, too!

Q: What are your prices? A: Our pricing depends on what type of musical group you require, how long you'll need us for, and where your ceremony is located. Despite an absolutely CRAZY thunderstorm just as their wedding was about to start on June 28th, Olivia and Mike’s wedding was a beautiful celebration of their love!

Here’s a video of us playing Sarah “Cellobat” Chaffee’s arrangement of Coldplay’s mega hit “Viva La Vida” as the couple’s chosen recessional.

Also: kudos to the tent at Herman & Luthers that refused to succumb to the maelstrom!

Yesterday’s wedding gig came with a plot twist ⏱️ 20 minutes before the ceremony:
⛈️ MASSIVE thunderstorm
🌬️ Wild winds.
🌧️ Torrential rain.
🎒 Instruments back in their cases.
😬 Honestly, it was the scariest gig I’ve ever played.

Happily, the ceremony was still able to take place in the tent once the worst of the storm had passed. 💍🎻

Major kudos to the patio tent at Herman & Luthers for withstanding that beast of a storm and keeping everyone (and everything) safe and (mostly) dry!!

Founded by Jason Hurwitz—a professional musician who previously toured with Barrage and Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy and has recently performed with the Williamsport Symphony Orchestra Pops, Commonwealth Pops, and Uptown Music Collective—our musicians each have decades of musical training and have each played dozens, if not hundreds, of special events.
