T-minus one day until I head across the sea to chase everything God has for me.
As I pack the last of my things today and prepare for my flights tomorrow, my heart is full. Emotions are all over the place, but the one that stands out most is gratefulness.
I’m so grateful for the friends and family who have supported and prayed for me—those who’ve walked alongside me in both the best and hardest moments, always pointing me back to Jesus. I’m especially thankful for parents who deeply love the Lord and have raised me in that same love.
And above all, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude to God—for all He’s done in my life, the ways He’s led me through both the good and the difficult, and how He continues to shape me into who I’m called to be.
Every promise He’s made is true. I think of little 8-year-old Adaliah, breathing a sigh of relief as I board this plane tomorrow—knowing she wasn’t crazy for writing “missionary to the unreached” in her 5th grade time capsule…even when the classmates and teachers thought she might be a lil crazy.
Our lives aren’t built on one moment, but on daily obedience to God—and what a beautiful journey obedience brings.
As I reflect on the sweet times with my friends and family in Tallahassee, my heart is so full. And I’m so excited to see what God does in this next season. ♥️
