There’s just something about saying “I do” surrounded by flowers. 🌸

Wedding arches can completely transform a ceremony space, whether you want something lush and overflowing or soft, airy and garden-inspired.

And yes...we will ALWAYS find an excuse to add one more flower. 😉

She said she wanted an ENTRANCE to her “I do’s.”

And boy, did she get one. 🤍✨

For this sweet bride at The Barn at Smith Lake, we lined the ceremony walkway with candle-filled glass vases, lush white petals and blooms spilling along the aisle.
And waiting at the end?

A gorgeous white flower meadow framing one seriously breathtaking Smith Lake view. 🌿🤍

Hydrangeas, roses and tall, wispy white blooms created the dreamiest place for these two to stand and promise forever, without taking a single thing away from that incredible backdrop.

But can we talk about what happened AFTER the vows?

You kiss.
You hear, “I now pronounce you…”
You turn around for the very first time as MRS.
And THAT is the view waiting for you. 🥹🤍
The flowers.
The candle-lined aisle.
The lake.
All the people you love.

Come onnnnn. 😭

Some ceremony spaces just don’t need much help. They simply need flowers that know how to frame the moment.

And this one? She understood the assignment. 🌿✨

Can we give GREENERY a little moment? 🌿👏

Flowers may get top billing, but greenery is back there doing some serious work.
It adds movement.

Texture.
Depth.
That wild, garden-y feeling we love so much.

Sometimes the magic isn’t adding another flower. Sometimes it’s adding the perfect little wisp of green. 🌿

Can we have a moment for the STAIRS?! 🌸✨

Because sometimes the perfect place for flowers isn’t on a table.

At the 1616 House, this gorgeous staircase already makes a statement the second you walk through the door, so naturally…we had to give her a little floral accessory. 😉
We created two lush garden-style arrangements at the base of the stairs, overflowing with pinks, peaches, yellows, whites and greenery.

And LOOK at what they did to that entrance. 😍

They didn’t cover the beautiful architecture.
They framed it.
They added color.
They pulled a little bit of that fun reception palette inside.
And they turned an already gorgeous staircase into one of our favorite floral moments of the day.

This is your reminder that wedding flowers don’t always have to live in the “expected” places.

Sometimes that empty corner, fireplace, doorway or staircase is just sitting there thinking…

Put flowers on me. 🌸😂
And who are we to argue?

Plot twist. 🌸🍊💛

If you thought the soft white ceremony flowers were going to tell you what the reception looked like…

YOU THOUGHT WRONG. 😂

Because after “I do,” this bride said bring on ALL. THE. COLORS.

And we were absolutely here for it.

The reception at the 1616 House went from soft ceremony romance to a playful garden party filled with pink, peach, coral, yellow, orange and white blooms.

Tiny bud vases danced down the long wooden tables. 🌸
Floating candles added a little glow.
Pink goblets and bright orange napkins turned up the fun.
And instead of one big centerpiece doing all the work, little pops of flowers were tucked EVERYWHERE. On the tables, across the mantels, around the house and anywhere else that needed a tiny floral wink. 😉

We especially loved how the mix of bud vases made every little bloom feel important. One rose here. A ranunculus there. A tall stem reaching up just because she felt like it.
Nothing too perfect. Nothing too matchy-matchy.

Just COLOR. PERSONALITY. FUN. 🌸🍊✨

Proof that your ceremony and reception absolutely do not have to wear the same outfit.

You can be soft and romantic for “I do”…
…and then throw open the doors and let your reception PARTY. 💃🌸
This bride understood the assignment.

When your ceremony backdrop already looks like THIS…you don’t compete with it. You let it shine. 🤍🌿

One of our favorite Montgomery venues, the 1616 House, gave this couple a ceremony setting that needed very little introduction.

That TREE. 😍

With its sweeping branches and whimsical hanging moss, it was already creating the kind of Southern romance you simply cannot manufacture.

So our job wasn’t to upstage it.
It was to enhance it.

We filled natural wicker baskets with clouds of white hydrangeas and touches of greenery, then placed them along the aisle to gently lead the way toward “I do.”
Soft. Simple. Natural.

The flowers felt like they belonged right there beneath the tree instead of being brought in to compete with it.

And sometimes that is exactly what wedding flowers should do. 🌿
Not steal the show.

Just make an already beautiful moment feel a little more magical. 🤍

Wedding flower tip 💐

Instead of getting completely attached to ONE specific flower, tell your florist what you love about it.

Is it the shape?
The softness?
The color?
The wild garden feel?

Flowers are seasonal little divas. 😂 But knowing the look you love gives us room to create something beautiful even when a specific bloom isn't available.

Weddings may keep us busy, but every now and then we get to trade “bridal” for something a little different…and we LOVE IT. ❤️🌹

We had so much fun creating florals for this Fantasy event at Wind Creek Casino in Montgomery!

The assignment? Make a statement.
So we let RED do the talking. 🔥

Striking red roses took center stage, with just a touch of white stock and baby’s breath and a peek of greenery. Paired with those black linens, the whole room had a bold, dramatic feel without needing a million different colors competing for attention.
Sometimes more is more.

And sometimes you pick one fabulous color and LET. IT. WORK. 👏🌹

Corporate dinners, themed parties, galas, celebrations and large events are such a fun break from our wedding world, so keep Flowers by Amanda in mind when your next event needs a little flower power!

This is your sign to consider a FLOWER MEADOW for your ceremony. 🤍🌿

Tucked beneath a beautiful old tree at The Elms, a simple wooden cross stood surrounded by a meadow of white blooms.

And that was it.
No giant arch.
No towering installation.
Nothing competing with the beauty already surrounding them.

Just a soft, garden-inspired sweep of white flowers marking the very spot where they would stand together and say their vows. 🥹

Hydrangeas, roses and delicate white blooms spilled across the grass as though they had grown there just for this moment.

There is something we absolutely LOVE about ceremony flowers that work with the setting instead of covering it up.

Under the trees.
In front of the cross.
Surrounded by flowers.
And right there in the middle of it all, two people promising forever. 🤍

Yeah...this one was special.
