Hound Hauz is changing directions. That being said, we won't be hosting markets on a regular basis for the foreseeable future, but will continue to support the amazing small business owners we've met over the last year.
You may have noticed that our FB banner has changed. That's because we have news that we want to share.
👀 THE NITTY GRITTY DETAILS
Our Dog and Family Friendly Beer Garden was created with the community in mind. We've had the pleasure of seeing some old friends and making several news ones. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to secure a reliable Food Truck that serves great food and has consistent hours. Without food, we don't have enough foot traffic to remain open every weekend. In addition to working at my full time job, I have grandkids that I don't get to see as often as I would like. I've missed watching their football and baseball games, cheerleading competitions, and my 15 year old grandson compete in bull riding. (Who am I kidding? I really didn't want to see that because I would have been stressed out the entire time!)
I've worked 7 days a week, 12-15 hours a day for the last 18 months. If you're a small business owner, you expect to work long hours, but juggling a full time job too is more than I bargained for. For these reasons, I've decided to make a few changes to our business model. Going forward, we won't be open to the general public. I know this news is going to be a huge disappointment to our furry friends, especially the four legged ones. We want to make sure we will get to see them again, so we will be hosting dog friendly community events at some point in the future. It wasn't an easy decision, but after weighing the pros and cons, it's the right one for me.
On a personal note, I'm excited that I will still get to do what I love... We will continue to host Sip and Create workshops, community events, and Hound Hauz will be available for private parties. Not only that, but I will be able to schedule time off to spend with my family!
In the next week or so, our website will be updated with a calendar of events so please continue to follow our page.
