Sol to Soul family 🌞✨ meet Amriel (Am-ree-el) Saige. Our newest team member made her grand entrance into the world in the early hours of January 15th. She has given total meaning to the quote, “though she be but little, she is fierce”. We think she’ll fit in just fine around here.

Sol to Soul emerged as a mother-daughter duo that had the vision of bringing uniquely styled events to the central coast. We soon realized that we were not only a mother-daughter duo, but a multigenerational woman owned business-Mother, daughter AND granddaughters.
•
Though Capri and Amriel may be but little, they are fierce. We hope that one day they share as much passion as their ma-ma and ga-ma have in the event industry and in adding a bit of SOUL to peoples lives.
•
The team here at Sol to Soul prides themselves on creating an experience for our clients from start to finish. Everything from our prompt response after initial inquiry, involving our clients in the planning process, right down to timeline creation and ex*****on of the event. Our creative vision is expansive, but our clients comfort and peace of mind will always come first.

The plan from the beginning was to make a mark in the luxury picnic scene on the peninsula and in under a year we have done just that, and then some. Sol to Soul is quickly shifting gears and is now doing everything from event coordination, design and styling.

Watch as our story continues to unfold in the greater part of 2023 as we create moments that last a lifetime with mama’s to be, kiddos and their parents and even some brides.

For those of you that are new around here, my mom, Cathlynn is the hands of the business. I often refer to her as the better half of Sol to Soul 🌞 Our design process usually goes a little something like this
me: so. I was thinking, what if we made this grand backdrop (I tell her the flow and the experience that I want our clients to have)
her: okay. *doesn’t let me touch anything after* 😂
Me: I can probably take that home to do it.
Her: No, it’s okay 😂🤣

With over 30 years (yes, 30!) of experience in the design + creative space, Cathlynn will be sure to elevate your party with just the right details leaving you with a truly unique design experience. She is the literal queen of details and can expand on a vision to the nth degree. She’s also super fashionable and wears outfits to match the theme of a party. Peep her outfit for Capri’s Carnival 🎡🤩 If you zoom in on her earrings, you will see that they match her pants almost perfectly. She also designed those pants herself. Lucky to call her my mama 💛

Hi Sol to Soul family 💛🌞 Yes, yes-I know, we’ve been gone for a cool minute. Carissa has been busy growing a baby (31 weeks pregnant) and Cathlynn has been using her craft by decorating homes for the holdiays. But, we’re still here and thriving-just in a different season of life. Also, I’m posting this picture of the Capri marquee letters because this deserves a permanent spot on the Sol to Soul feed 🤪

The color palette for literally every single piece of decor INCLUDING our desserts were spot on. Make sure you work with vendors who understand your vision and double, triple and quadruple check with you about your desired color palette. When deciding the color palette for any party we send over an inspiration piece or color palette swatch (in this case a scrapbook page because let’s be honest we can be little unconventional at times 🤪) and tell vendors the main colors and the colors we’re accenting.

It’s important for you to 1,000% trust the vendors you’re working with so that they can create their magic and you’re at ease trusting that everything flows 🌞✨

Yesterday was a doozie, but it was still so much fun. Thank you to my love for going along with my crazy ideas to create special memories for Capri, our family and friends and many thanks to everyone that joined us for Capri’s special day. We were overwhelmed with love and support! You’re all the best 💛

Capri’s Carnival was a complete success…with some large hiccups along the way, but thanks to the wonderful team of friends, family and friendors it all worked out for the greater good.

Thank you to everyone involved, but especially to my magic maker mama who has made the party her baby since Capri was about 6 months old. She held the vision and executed the s**t out of the design. I love you mucho mama 💛

As for me, this mama needs a hot shower & to kick her feet up for a cool minute.
