The Mother of the Bride shared with us the story of the ceremony trees, and we want to share it with you, as it feels beautifully significant.

"At the edge of the bluff, where the lawn meets the sky and Lake Michigan stretches endlessly to the horizon, stand two honey locust trees—side by side, forming a gentle arch. For generations, our family has gathered beneath their canopy to celebrate love, memory, and the enduring bonds that tie us to this sacred place. We call them the wedding trees. To be married beneath the wedding trees is not just to begin a marriage. It is to root that union in generations of memory, in tradition, in song, and in sunset, beneath the vast and sacred sky."
