Ahhhh, a romantic beach proposal. ❤️ Adam had been planning for months and the heavy thunderstorms and humidity was not stopping him from making this moment happen.... and it went better than imagined. The skies were just perfect on Laurel Beach this past Friday night when Kiersten said YES. I loved being a part of this beautiful occasion, along with their family and friends, and can't wait to dig into these shots. Congratulation to Kiersten and Adam! 💍

Seniors (or parents/guardians/grandparents/neighbors/friends of seniors)... do you want something to really capture your personality a little more accurately than the traditional yearbook picture? It is not too late to schedule your spring senior shoot!

Michelle and I had just a little time to make this shoot happen on one particular day and the stars (and lighting) alighted perfectly. Of course, I can't choose 3 or 4 of my favorites, so here are my top 11. 😂. Thank you to Michelle and her mom for choosing A Storybook Image!

The beautiful Bella Luna was my subject during a session at her Monroe home this past fall. This baby girl was full of sass, laughs, and a few adorable pouts while giving her mom and I a workout as we ran around their property to get the best shots.

I couldn't help but get a little emotional while editing these and thinking about how quickly they grow, as my now almost 13 year-old was JUST this little before I blinked. It's also a reminder to capture those simple little moments in time, either from your own camera or utilizing a professional.

HAPPY NEW YEAR to our ASI Family! As the season usually is for us, this past fall was a whirlwind of events, thanks to your continued business and referrals. We shot SO many family shoots, senior sessions, corporate headshots/group sessions, and weddings over the course of just a few months... each one of them unique. I will be posting some of my favs over the next few weeks! THANK YOU for being amazing supporters of my little business.

Now that I've had a few weeks to catch up on life (although really, are we ever actually caught up?), I enjoyed picking up the camera on Saturday morning to capture just a bit of the gorgeous freshly-fallen snow at Webb Mountain Park in Monroe. Hope you enjoy!

About Friday night!!! Congratulations to Michelle and Ryan who were married at the beautiful Whittemore at the Vyne restaurant & bar in Middlebury. A Storybook Image was honored to be a part of this event with photography and ceremony video, plus wedding officiant and DJ services from our own Herman Olivera III. It was a full team effort and I can't wait to share the rest of our work soon! We had a BLAST at this wedding and loved getting to know this couple throughout the planning process (plus realized that we have so many hometown connections). CONGRATULATIONS Michelle and Ryan!!! Enjoy that amazing honeymoon!

I LOVED shooting with these now senior Masuk twins and their mom back in July! We were working against the clock and the clouds as we tracked a huge storm approaching us at Boothe Memorial Park in Stratford... but we got in plenty of great shots (and more).

SENIORS... there is still plenty of time to schedule your shoot this fall! We can customize a shoot in terms of location/materials/props based on your personality (or sports/hobbies/etc), or keep it very casual and simple. The most important first step is to get it on the calendar. 📅 📸 I look forward to working with you!
