A fairy ONE happy birthday to darling lil’ Vaani! I love doing babies first parties after I get to do their baby showers. A gentle nod to her “baby in bloom” theme I added the same giant floral stems by her side. Everything had to be perfect, everything had to match theme. What a delight to see her and her sister grow thru the years. I go above and beyond for repeat clients even when it’s late night or last minute wrapping at venue for surprise guests. There isn’t a job to big I can’t handle with my sidekick Deborah who is a dream to work with. She is brilliant with children and craft teaching. We stayed at the mini craft table and made wands, fairy crowns and fairy sticker picture with 17 tiny guests. Not an easy task after haul in and deco but what fun to see kids excited! I do full decor, return gifts, wrap/tags, kids entertainment, toys and activity tables. No, I am not a baker…😆😵‍💫 (So many ask, “can you bake the cake as well?”) But I do have strong recommendation: hire INDIAN BAKER if you want the cakes to taste beyond exquisite. They use the BEST frostings instead of heavy, sugary butter creams. I have lots of opinions on these events. I have thrown hundreds over my life time. 💕

Stunning garden graduation party last night! I did the decorations, provided stunning Buffett, was in charge of photography. Hosted by two loving and adoring parents who are proud of their graduate! I loved every second doing this event with the mom right down to the colors. Family matched in their carefully curated photos and backdrops. Thank you for the experience, I do very much appreciate dream clients. 🥰

Just finished a fun back yard set up for beautiful 3 year old who loves Spider-Man! Complete with matching bouncy house and bubbles. Yes! I do have small children’s bouncy houses for rent. Perfect for ages 18 months to 6 years old.

I thouraly enjoyed creating this Winnie the Pooh birthday party for baby Rudra. This was my third event with family. Each one the client stretches a creative corner with me. Mom didn’t want anything lit up so I bought wood birthday sign, created my own #1 sign, hand crafted Rudra’s name pendant and omitted stringing lights in this venue (which I usually do) I thought it turned out great! I love the color palette with dusty blue, sage green and pastel yellow. Thank you Swetha for opportunity! And shout out to my side kick Deborah who helps me pull it all off in timely manner. There is a LOT of heavy equipment to lift in and out of venues with step and parking challenges. It’s a Tetris game to get it all in and out of my pink van. What you see is a week’s (sometimes 2) worth of prep and after I drive away? Another 4 hours to get it all washed, repacked and back in storage unit. Party’s and events are primarily 80% work behind the glossy photos no one sees. 🥳

Baby in bloom celebrations for this darling couple! I love doing gender reveal parties and this one was so much fun! Couple pops the giant golden balloon and lots of little balloons fly out revealing babies gender. It’s such a fun surprise for all. The day was perfect. Congratulations to a wonderful family! 🥰🎉

Real talk from decorator: Business has been incredibly slow. Economic uncertainty is on most people’s minds, I get it. I still have to create, I love felt and hand stitching. Here are a few things I have made in the slow months. Due to the radical tariff policies enacted I have decided a couple of things. 1. I am not raising my prices. I have enough props to make complete and beautiful events. 2. I am NOT buying anymore props. All decor/event/craft/creating items come and are manufactured in China. There is no way around this. My home package is $550 My venue package is $675 (I decorate up to 8 guest/eating tables. I do not charge tax on returning clients OR referrals 🥳🎉That saves 10%. I have rentals, bouncy houses and will entertain children for $150 with decor package.

Please shop around, you will find my packages are for less than most decorators and you do get more. No, I do not do fresh flowers nor helium. (To costly to clients) The current political climate impacts me and my family greatly. It is beyond distressing for me. I try to put on a happy face but I am not really good with utter ignorance and denial. Yes, I am happy to save a date for you, just know that martial law, protests and finacial collapse is a real certainty as we all go forward in “planning our events” for the summer season. I won’t put myself in a dangerous situation and that includes late night parties in Seattle.

Hiring a decorator is a luxery item. Please don’t try to bargain me down. My prices are firm. If you would like to rent items and DIY? I am now open for rentals on certain equiptment I own. The darling child in photo is my grandson. He is my world. With every dollar spent at my business I can better support him and his parents. Money is nice but it’s never been my value system. I started this business with my need to create and buy fun props. I truly love to create joy for others and as long as I can do so, I will keep going. It’s been a hot minute, biz has slowed quite a bit since November. I put this decor together for mom’s “Baby in Bloom” shower at a cozy venue in Wallingford. Dream clients, wonderful to work for, I always do a little extra for those who are kind and gracious. Shout out to husband and friends who helped load in and load out on such a cold day/night. The decorating portion I LOVE! The clean up and heavy load lifting? 😬 not-so-much but all apart of the work to create a event. FYI, my venue price installations INCLUDE up to 8 tables covered and decorated. Venue packages are full background set up, guest eating tables decorated, gift side table, entry welcome sign all for $675. Most decorators start at $850 for backdrop only. I know a decorator who starting price is $1800. This is crazy to me, you can have a nice event and not overspend. Yes, decorating is a luxury item but it does not have to be extreme to be beautiful or make memories. I throw in my sound system and or bubbles machine and will hang lights if you are a great client! (No extra charge) manners are vital important to me. 🥰🎉

Not ready for the holiday Joy to end? Throw a snowpeep party! I wanted to do something for the tiny ones I love so I transformed my space to a crafty bouncy winter wonderland. YES! My most of my mini bounce house collection fits inside homes. (FYI I do rent them) This party had a full craft table, mini desserts for the kiddos and snowpeep cookie cutters to take home along with the crafts they made. We had a fluffy snowball game that was tossed around. Here’s the dealio for 2025. Things are going to be challenging for a while. Lots of folks including myself, my friends and family. It may be hard. Throw a party, it doesn’t have to be expensive. Learn from me. I am going to be changing my business model and teaching basic decor design and tricks in the new year and what it takes to have something professional looking yet not break the bank.

Children deserve to be celebrated. Life while we have it deserves to be celebrated! My go to idea when dealing with something hard is to plan a party to lift your spirits. Some of my best and dynamic events have been under extreme duress. Long ago I threw a party to celebrate a bag of bone marrow being flow into a children’s oncology BMT unit to attempt to save a life. I have thrown a pirate themed funeral, I have thrown a craft party at a children’s hospital for parents in distress. I did an entire carnival for a little boy who was about to live in a hospital for months on end. I have decorated hospital rooms.

So whatever you or your loved ones face? Trust me on this…celebrate every breath you still have and NEVER let children go without creating some fantasy for them. It’s cruel. Life is hard enough, don’t disappoint children. Throw yourself or wee ones a small event. Everyone looks forward to JOY! 🥰🎉☃️

A enchanted forest hotel birthday party for a magical boy whom I love dearly. My grandson Salem. He got the very best celebration out of me that I could possibly deliver. It was such an extreme joy to plan and prepare for during the year. No detail was left out, everything had to match and I even slipped on the giant squirrel costume for pure silliness. His smile lights up my entire world.

My business pages are public and to protect the family, I cannot post all the fun photos I took but it was a glorious celebration for him and his parents. Love is love is love…..🥰🎉🐿️

Cute “Berry 1st Birthday” birthday party in Kirkland yesterday. Parents were both a complete joy to work for. Mom wanted a simple set up that fit in her budget and could be done in two hours time. Yes! I can do a home party backdrop at a venue and drop the cost of table decor. This is a great example. I am very flexible and can accommodate many outcomes.

*I am no longer going to post cute babies or families without expressed consent from family. My business fb is public. My business is committed to keeping families/identities safe on social media. This country is radically changing come January 20th and I will protect vulnerable people. Thanks for understanding. 😊

I love Diwali celebrations. Diwali is a Hindu holiday that symbolizes light over darkness and good over evil. It is decorated with vibrant colors and twinkling lights everywhere. This year I was going to do it very big but after last Tuesday night? I was wondering if I could even get out of bed let alone throw a party. I am grief stricken and in deep mourning for the country I thought I had. After two days of crying I decided that THIS celebration IS the one I should embrace. I cannot dim my own light and let darkness win over me. 🥹

I put on a small dinner, got out my beautiful treasures from Rhajistan from my trip, gathered some chosen family and enjoyed the simple pleasure of being with a few I love.

I want to thank all of those who have hired me this year. Your trust in my business has allowed me to keep going, pay my overhead bills and helped financially support a young family. I don’t forget those who care.

We are all headed into a dark time. BE. THE. LIGHT. Just know that my small business supports immigrant families however they arrived here. I always have and I always will. I am a feminist, I support women’s rights to chose what they do with their bodies. I am a FIERCE supporter of the LGBTQ community. I am a democratic liberal and I am proud of it.

Business owners big or small have a voice in communities. Know where you put your dollars and what it is going to. Be aware. Prepare your families for what will change in this country. We have only 70 days to get ready for some monumental changes.

I remain steadfast in my convictions for the greater good of humanity. I refute those who chose exclusive rather than inclusive. I question those who remain in the shadows. Money is not everything to me. Freedom and justice FOR ALL is my value system and you as a consumer should know where I stand before you hire me. 👦🏽🏳️‍🌈🇮🇳🇲🇽💖🙋‍♀️

Happy HALLOWEEN! It’s one of my favorite times of year. I threw my grandkids a cute monster party last night. Themed inside and out; cuteness factor high! I don’t like scary decor at all. I keep it light and fun for the littles. 👦🏽🎃👻 A tiny lil’ crabby traveled from Olympia for a visit. I had to put up my newest bouncy house for the babies!
