My good friend Alex and his siblings surprised their parents with this session — truly the most priceless gift. Something they’ll cherish long after these babies aren’t so little anymore. I’m so grateful I got to document this family — they’ve been part of our lives for so many years, and watching them love on their grandbabies felt like witnessing legacy in realtime. And let’s be honest… these grandparents barely look like grandparents. 🤍The energy, the joy, the snuggles — pure magic. These are the moments we don’t get back. The ones worth pausing time for. The ones we’ll be so grateful we saved. 🤍

First birthday photos don’t have to be stressful. You show up. Pick an outfit from my client closet. Put your little one on the cozy bed and let me do the rest 🤍 I have all the tricks for claps, giggles, tiny toes, sweet profiles, tummy time, and standing (if they can!). One year goes by faster than anyone expects 🤍 I photographed this family’s maternity session at Patterson Park-a place close to home and full of early memories. One year later, we returned to the same spot, same pagoda, same steps… only this time, their baby is in their arms instead of still on the way. Some places become part of your family's story. We walked these same paths in Patterson Park over a year ago — when these two were eagerly waiting to become parents, imagining who their baby would be and how life was about to change. From welcoming newborn twins at home to three big personalities filling every frame, this family has trusted me to document their story year after year. And every time I look back at those first photos and then see them now, I get emotional all over again. We don’t get the slow motion version of childhood.. we get the blink-and-they’re-grown version, and the photos are how we hold on just a little longer. About Me

Hi! I am Rachael, the girl behind the camera!

I am a wife, mama, and nurse practitioner! I know how important it is to have family photos to display in your home to cherish forever. It can take a long time to search for a photographer that fits your style. You may also be worried how your children or spouse may behave in front of the camera. Put those fears aside, you have come to the right place!

I love to capture genuine connections through photographs. I do this by creating natural interactions such as telling my clients to play, cuddle, or tickle. If able, I will add a few staged poses as well to give you a a nice mix of photographs.

I am CPR certified by the American Heart Association. I have been a nurse for 9 years caring for medically fragile children and those with special needs.
