Mondovi Varsity 2026 were triumphant over Whitehall Varsity Whitehal Varsity 2026 Baseball 6-4 on Thursday.

Mondovi Varsity 2026 got on the board in the first inning after a passed ball scored one run.

Whitehall Varsity Whitehal Varsity 2026 Baseball took the lead in the top of the fourth inning after Mondovi Varsity 2026 dropped a third strike, and Connor Stevens hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run.

Mondovi Varsity 2026 flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the fifth, scoring five runs on four hits to take the lead, 6-2. The biggest blow in the inning was a home run to right field by Cooper Sandberg on a full count that drove in two.

Hunter Wik earned the win for Mondovi Varsity 2026. The right-handed pitcher gave up four hits and three runs over six innings, striking out four and walking three. Jacob Sartor took the loss for Whitehall Varsity Whitehal Varsity 2026 Baseball. The righty went one and two-thirds innings, giving up one run on one hit, striking out one and walking none. Riley Herman began the game for Whitehall Varsity Whitehal Varsity 2026 Baseball. The hurler allowed three hits and five runs (four earned) over four and one-third innings, striking out three and walking six. Bode Falkner collected the save. Zach Konkel appeared in relief for Mondovi Varsity 2026.

Sandberg provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Mondovi Varsity 2026 with two runs batted in. The outfielder went 1-for-1 on the day.
