This one feels personal.

I was quoted in Love Inc. Magazine sharing ideas for incorporating Puerto Rican flavors into weddings, and it just makes me proud.

Sandwiches de mezcla. Alcapurrias. Pan sobao. Medalla beer. Coco frío. A piña colada moment.

Tonight was so special. I got to see The Listening Booth come to life and hold the book that features the portraits I photographed. My heart is honestly so full.

Thank you to Natalie and the entire Charleston County Public Library team for trusting me with something this meaningful. Listening to these stories and seeing the impact of this project reminded me why I love doing what I do. Real people. Real stories. Real connection.

It was an honor to be part of this with you all.

I’m so grateful I got to photograph The Listening Booth with Charleston County Public Library. Seeing this project on the news just made my whole heart smile. These stories are powerful and the people behind them are even more beautiful.

That’s exactly what this installation invites us to do… pause, listen, and connect.

Launch event is tonight at the Keith Summey North Charleston Library from 6 to 7:30 p.m. It’s free and open to everyone, and you’ll even get a book with the portraits and stories we created.

I got to do something really special. I was invited onto the podcast with Lindsey Heatherington and Kameron Brown and I’m such a huge fan of these two. This was my very first podcast ever and it honestly felt so natural and fun.
