If you’ve never made the drive out to our beautiful little town of Molt, you are truly missing out. We live out in the canyon, and it is absolutely gorgeous this time of year.

When we moved to Montana, we didn’t just find a new home. We found a way of life we deeply respect. From the wide-open grasslands to the hard working men and women who pour their heart and grit into caring for the land and the cattle, this place is something special.

Last week, Lost Texan had the honor of catering for the Montana Beef Council and this week we get to serve lunch during the Montana Grazing Expo, hosted by the Montana Grazing Lands Coalition.

It’s the farmers and ranchers who make Montana what it is. These men and women show us what real work ethic looks like, day in and day out. We’re proud to celebrate the ranching heritage that keeps these prairies alive and thriving.

Here’s to Montana ranchers. Here’s to Montana beef. Here’s to the Good Lord for blessing the land and the hands that work it.

We’ve had some questions about where we will be next and we love it! 🤠
So for those asking…
We do this as a family on the side of our regular jobs, responsibilities and family obligations so, unfortunately we aren’t out all the time. Once the school year starts, we are mostly out for bigger events. We do a lot of catering though! 🤠 We’d love to have you follow our page and we will keep you posted on where and when we will be next. More than likely, we will do a few more events before the colder season.

We are so grateful to everyone who stopped by and supported us yesterday at the Food Truck Battle on the Yellowstone! It was such a joy serving so many wonderful people.

What mattered most to us was being able to give back to our veterans, and thanks to all of you, we did just that. 🇺🇸

A huge thankyou to the Breakfast Exchange Club for putting on such an incredible event for such a great cause. We’re honored to have been a part of it!

Lost Texan Pit BBQ Food Truck will be there serving up your favorites (with sample sizes available) while 50+ food trucks go head-to-head for the title of Best in Billings! 🤠

🎶 Live music, 🎈 free kids’ activities, and family fun all day long. Bring your lawn chairs and appetite! Many trucks are offering sample sizes, so you can try them all! It’s going to be an unforgettable day and we are so excited to be a part!

• FREE for Veterans, Active Military (with ID), and kids 12 & under
• Just $5 for everyone else

🔥 Just had an incredible 3-meat combo at Fat Racks BBQ in Cody! Enjoyed a great time chatting with the owner/pitmaster about our shared Texas roots. He’s a super nice guy and knows his way around a smoker. I was just passing through, but honestly? Totally worth the drive to Cody just to eat here. Go check them out! Happy GRAND OPENING DAY to Transylvanian Chimney Cakes!!! I was able to spend some time mainly in Brasov, Romania and got to visit Bran Castle so, we knew we had to try these!!!
