Komprezzor

Hailing from Mexico City and residing in Chicago for over two decades, Komprezzor has become synonymous with hardware and modular-based techno live performances in the US. His sounds and patterns defy the classically trained ear, where no time nor scale is right or wrong.

Performing with a gut-driven, heavily Detroit-influenced style, he thrives on improvisation. When asked about his technique, he likens it to life itself—unpredictable, with the ability to craft soundscapes and sequences on the fly, always with impeccable timing. At a Komprezzor performance, simply expect the unexpected.

Currently, he is developing his hardware brand, which will serve as his main operational umbrella, encompassing a label, podcast, video channel, and interviews with fellow hardware performers.

Mustafa Avdic

Over the past two decades, Mustafa, a Bosnia native, has become a pivotal figure in Iowa's techno and underground dance music community. His dedication has cultivated a flourishing scene, earning him widespread recognition from fans and fellow artists.

Mustafa's influence extends beyond Iowa, with dynamic DJ performances captivating audiences across the Midwest and internationally. He's also a prolific producer, releasing and remixing original music for various global artists over the last twenty years. Most recently, he scored (produced music for) the movie "GI Joe Crimson Archer" alongside fellow producer Pri Yon Joni, further showcasing his versatile talent.
His career, which began in Des Moines, Iowa, saw him co-found Solar Cathedral Recordings in 2007. This groundbreaking label, Iowa's first dedicated techno imprint, operated successfully for three years, featuring globally recognized releases and remixes from esteemed producers such as DJ Misjah, Woody McBride, Dustin Zahn, Mladen Tomic, M.Gervais, and Dejan Milicevic, among others.

Mustafa is renowned for his ability to energize a crowd, transforming dance floors into an electrifying experience. His infectious passion for music and deep understanding of crowd dynamics are evident in every performance, creating an unforgettable atmosphere that converts attendees into devoted fans of both his artistry and techno music.
