Hello everyone! Just a quick refresh of rules and expectations for the arena.
1.) If you do NOT board at Bar 88, and plan to ride you are EXPECTED to pay a "haul in" fee. We have had plenty of non-payers lately. If you do not pay, you will kindly be asked to not come back.
2.) The haul in fee is $10 if you choose to ride with no arena lights, if you turn the lights on during your ride the haul in fee is $20. If you plan to haul in to ride on a regular basis, you can purchase a monthly haul in pass for $125. That allows you unlimited riding with lights AS LONG AS THE ARENA IN NOT RENTED.
3.) If you are planning on hauling into ride, please check the calendar and make sure the arena is open. The calendar is subject to change, therefore we also suggest texting Sean @ 503.519.5395 to double check that the arena is open and to let them know you are coming.
4.) I feel like this shouldn't even have to be said, BUT PLEASE clean up after yourselves. If your horse poops in the parking lot, please clean it up. If your horse paws a hole while tied in the arena, please fill it back in. This is common curtesy.
5.) NO dogs allowed. If you bring your dog, it must stay in your truck/trailer.
6.) Please make sure you are respecting people's paid arena rental times. If you are hauling into ride, it MUST BE during "open arena".
7.) If you are interested in a private rental time, please contact Sean!
Please note this is a private facility, that the Newman family graciously opens to the public. If you cannot follow these simple rules, you will be asked to not come back.
