Give yourself permission.
Put September 5 on your calendar. Not for anybody else. For an hour of making something just because you want to.
Come build a journal with me at the Akoko Botanical Bazaar. Every base and every paper is cut and prepped ahead of time, so the whole hour goes to making. Pick your upcycled base, decorate it however you want, and build the inside with the papers you love. You leave with a real book, bound by you, ready for whatever you decide to put in it.
You don’t have to be crafty. You don’t have to bring a thing. You just have to give yourself the hour.
11am at 931 10th St in Modesto. $25 covers your seat, all your materials, and admission to the bazaar. Twelve seats, registration required, no walk-ups.
