I never get into Christmas this early BUT I read this book and it RUINED ME! I smelled Christmas, I tasted Christmas and there’s no turning back! It is truly magical. is our favorite children’s book author because every book is a beautifully poetic journey with illustrations that are inclusive and represent so many different people and families. The last few pages of this book wrap up the entire story with a big inspiring uplifting bow. I can’t say enough about this book. ALSO - This week Amazon and Target have included the book in their buy 2, get 1 free book sale, which means people could get three copies for just $7.65 a copy. I’m gifting the CRAP out of this book. I just want everyone to get a copy and share in the joy I feel after reading it.

I’ve always loved this photo and I don’t think I’ve ever posted it. About three years ago I captured a few brave mamas in their beautiful postpartum glory for a project with and every time I happen upon this capture I just stare at it. It’s so peaceful. So still.
I’m nursing my little boy right now too 🤱 .
