🤍 Looking Back at Chantel & Mike | 10.11.2025 🤍

Almost one year ago, we had the honor of bringing Chantel & Mike’s wedding celebration to life at the beautiful Harvard Club of New York City.

There is something unforgettable about seeing a room completely transformed for a wedding. For Chantel & Mike, we created a romantic, timeless atmosphere filled with layers of soft blush, ch*****ne, ivory and white florals, lush greenery, warm candlelight and touches of gold.

From the floral centerpieces surrounded by glowing taper candles to the lush floral installation embracing their sweetheart table, every detail was designed to complement the incredible character of the Harvard Club while still feeling completely personal to Chantel & Mike.

And then the candles were lit. ✨

The room changed.

The flowers, candlelight, historic architecture and beautiful tablescapes came together to create that warm, intimate feeling we love so much. Later, as the dance floor filled, the entire space came alive—and seeing our florals become part of those memories is one of the reasons we love what we do.

🤍 Looking Back One Year Ago Today | Kaitlin & Jake 🤍

One year ago today, October 4, 2025, Kaitlin and Jake said “I do” surrounded by family, friends, breathtaking Hudson Valley views, and a celebration filled with so much love at Boscobel House and Gardens.

And today, we get to look back at all the beautiful details. ❤️

For their wedding florals, we embraced a rich, romantic palette of deep burgundy, w**e, vibrant raspberry, red, soft blush, warm ch*****ne tones, and lush greenery. From the moment guests arrived at the ceremony to the final moments on the dance floor, we wanted the florals to feel abundant, elegant, romantic, and completely connected to the setting.

The ceremony was framed by two lush floral installations overlooking the Hudson Valley, with meadow-style florals lining the aisle and creating a beautiful pathway toward Kaitlin and Jake.

Then came the reception transformation. ✨

Their sweetheart table became a true statement moment, surrounded by layers of flowers, greenery, candlelight, and glowing red taper candles. Above the reception, suspended greenery and sparkling disco balls brought another dimension to the room and created such a magical atmosphere as daylight turned into evening.

And of course, we can’t forget Kaitlin’s bouquet—romantic, textural, and overflowing with the colors that carried throughout the entire celebration. 💐

Seeing these photographs a year later reminds us why we love what we do so much. Flowers aren’t simply decorations. They help create the setting where some of life’s most important memories happen.

🤍 Looking Back, Almost One Year Later… 🤍

It’s hard to believe we’re already approaching one year since Jessica & Troy’s beautiful wedding at City Winery Hudson Valley on October 11, 2025.

Looking back at these photographs brings us right back to that incredible day — the anticipation of the ceremony, the warmth of the candlelight, the room filled with family and friends, and, of course, the flowers that helped bring their entire celebration to life.

From the lush, garden-inspired ceremony installation framing Jessica & Troy as they exchanged their vows, to the floral-lined aisle, romantic tablescapes, elevated centerpieces, cascading greenery, and candlelight throughout the reception, every detail was designed to feel connected.

One of the things we love most about looking back at a wedding is seeing more than just the flowers.

We see the moments that happened around them.

The couple standing together surrounded by the people they love.
That first kiss as a married couple.
Guests gathering around beautifully dressed tables.

Some weddings stay with you long after the flowers have been placed and the last candle has gone out. Lydia and Robbie’s beautiful wedding at The Briarcliff Manor was one of those days.

Their celebration was filled with soft, romantic shades of white, ivory, delicate blue, and fresh greenery, creating a timeless look that felt elegant without ever feeling overdone.

For us at TK Floral Designs, a wedding is never about creating just one beautiful bouquet. It’s about creating an entire floral story.

From Lydia’s bridal bouquet and the bridesmaids’ flowers to the ceremony aisle, floral-covered pedestals, seating display, sweetheart table, reception centerpieces, cake flowers, and all of those smaller details in between—each piece was designed to feel like it belonged to the same beautiful vision.

And then there was that ceremony setting. 💙

Surrounded by greenery with those incredible Hudson Valley views in the distance, the white-and-blue florals brought softness and romance to an already breathtaking space. Seeing Lydia and Robbie standing together surrounded by flowers we had designed is exactly why we love what we do.

Once the celebration moved indoors, we carried that same feeling into the reception—lush greenery, airy florals, candlelight, and beautiful touches of blue and white transformed the room while still allowing the character of The Briarcliff Manor to shine.

But our favorite part will always be seeing the couple enjoying it all.

There is something incredibly special about a micro wedding. It reminds us that a wedding doesn’t have to be enormous to be extraordinary.

On October 1st, we had the pleasure of creating the florals for Brittany & Michael Olivier’s beautiful micro wedding at the Wainwright House in Rye, New York.

And what an amazing couple they were. ❤️

Their celebration was intimate, romantic, elegant, and filled with rich fall color. We designed their florals around a sophisticated palette of deep burgundy, romantic reds, soft blush and ch*****ne tones, touches of antique color, and lush greenery.

From the waterfront ceremony surrounded by the incredible landscape, to the floral installation framing their vows, every detail was designed to feel intentional and personal.

Inside, we carried that same vision throughout the celebration with lush centerpieces, glowing burgundy taper candles, statement florals, and one of our favorite details—the dramatic floral installation across the fireplace mantel. 🌹🕯️

The historic elegance of the Wainwright House paired with these rich, romantic florals created such a beautiful atmosphere.

But what made this wedding truly memorable for us was Brittany & Michael themselves. They were an absolute pleasure to work with, and being trusted to create the flowers for such an important day in their lives meant so much to us.

Where has Randy been, you might ask? 💐

I’ve asked myself how I wanted to write this post for a while.

The truth is, the past year has changed me.

There have been changes in my life, changes in my health, difficult moments, and things I needed time to process privately. As many of you know, around this time last year I was sick. It was a season that challenged me in ways I never expected.

But I kept fighting.

And today, I can finally say something that means more to me than I can put into words:

I’m feeling better. I’m feeling healthier. And most importantly, I’m feeling like Randy again. ❤️

Over this past year, I’ve learned that sometimes life makes you slow down so you can understand what truly matters.

I’ve learned to take better care of myself—physically and mentally. I’ve learned that it’s okay to give yourself time. And I’ve learned just how lucky I am to have the people I have around me.

My family.
My friends.
My customers.
My wedding couples.
My community.

And all of you.

There were days when a simple message, an order, someone stopping into the flower shop, a customer coming back, or someone recommending TK Floral Designs meant more to me than you could ever know.

You kept me moving forward.

And through everything, the flowers were still there. 🌸

Creating something beautiful for someone else gave me something beautiful to hold onto myself.

That is why TK Floral Designs means so much more to me than simply owning a flower shop.

Every bouquet has a person behind it.

Every wedding has a love story.

Every sympathy arrangement represents someone deeply loved.

Every birthday, anniversary, celebration, and “just because” bouquet allows me to be part of someone’s life for a moment.

That is something I will never take for granted.

And now, TK Floral Designs is growing.

We’re creating more weddings. We’re welcoming new customers. We’re seeing familiar faces walk through our doors. And every week, I’m watching this little dream become something bigger.

The last few weeks have been especially wonderful. I’ve been busy designing weddings on the weekends and coming right back to the shop to serve my everyday customers and community.

And you know what?

It feels good to be back.

Not because everything is perfect.

But because I’m moving forward.

I’m healthier.
I’m stronger.
I’m grateful.
I’m excited again.
And I have so many dreams for where TK Floral Designs is going next.
