I wanted to take the time to post a good number of photos from a recent session with a toddler- to show you how beautiful movement, and fun can be during your sessions!

Doing anything with a toddler can be a little challenging, so I wanted to add a few tips and thoughts for you all as you plan and think about your next photo session.

1. Come to your session open minded. Toddlers are a little unpredictable, so we can adjust and adapt as needed throughout the session to accommodate them.

2. Do not apologize for your child not sitting still, getting upset, or not doing the poses we planned...they can't yet comprehend the ideas we have behind a photo shoot, and sitting still for a pose...so we roll with it! It's ok! Don't let that stress you out :)

3. Movement and fun are the money shots! Take the time during your session to run, play and laugh together...those are ALWAYS everyone's favorite shots! It makes it way more enjoyable for the littles, and really makes the time spent together, memorable and fun.

4. Also bringing toys, snacks and their favorite music for some extra smiles and dancing never hurt either!

So, in a nut shell- Have fun, don't stress over behavior/movement, and come knowing that we might need to take a detour on our ideas and your session will be perfectly imperfect! ;)

Just a reminder that rain can be beautiful ♥️✨🌧 I’ll never forget this maternity session. It went from clear blue skies, to monsoon pouring rain in about 45 seconds haha

✨A few 2022 changes updates✨

Every January, as a small business, I like to re-group and think about my goals for the new year and what changes I should be making to grow my business, and changes that might make my life a little easier on the back end. I wanted to share those with you all so there was no surprise when booking a session. (No, my prices are not going up this year! A small increase will happen in 2023 though)

✨A $75 non-refundable deposit will be required for all regular sessions. And 50% retainers for minis. (The mini retainer isn't new, but I stopped doing regular retainers when Covid hit, and I am bringing that back this year)

✨All booking will be electronic through my website. Once you reach out to me, and we discuss and pick a date, I will then direct you to my website to pay your retainer and officially book your date. (Wedding booking will be this way soon as well! Contracts included! 👏)

✨ After you officially book, I will send over a Client Questionnaire for you to fill out. This is going to bring all your details and your ideas to the table, so we can create and brainstorm together better, and more efficiently. This is something that I will have on your file and will help me organize and get to know each of my clients a little bit better! I want to make your experience personal, and seamless!

✨Also- not new but just FYI- Minis for the year are being planned this month and I will be releasing a Mini Map of the year by the end of the month!! SO many new ideas and bringing back some of the popular ones from the last few years as well! 👏

I wanted to tell you a little bit about: Lifestyle Newborn Sessions!

Lifestyle Newborn sessions are in home sessions that take 1 hour. They are all-natural light, Minimal props, and clothing/blankets that are your personal items. These sessions are to capture the sweet, real moments just days after you bring your new baby home. I like to schedule these within 2-4 weeks of baby being born. You can message/text me when baby arrives, and we can plan from there! Any ideas you have during the months we are waiting for baby, send my way so the planning of outfits and images doesn't overwhelm you when you have your new baby to focus on :)

I only had a few minutes to edit a few from this adventure of an Engagement session...and it was HARD to just pick a couple!

This was a beautiful hike (a little hard towards the top but its SO WORTH IT...Obviously lol)

I also wish I could say I am that good at photoshop...but this was the real sky yall....They are my witnesses on that...it was STUNNING, breathtaking...at one point I wanted to cry from the beauty and excitement of what I was seeing.
