After over four years of business, I figured it was time for some headshots and a proper introduction!

Hi!! My name is Chelsey Petro and I’m the owner of Petro’s Preservations! What started out as a hobby in 2021, quickly turned into a business that took over our dining room table. I was working full time as a registered nurse while preserving flowers on the side until the fall of 2022 when my business allowed me to do what I love most, being a stay at home mom and preserving such special flowers into forever keepsakes!

When I’m not preserving flowers, you’ll find me cheering on my sons t-ball games, needlepointing (my newest hobby), or most likely spending time with my husband Josh, our two young boys, and our new puppy!

I’m so grateful for the support from my family, friends, and all of you! This business wouldn’t be possible without it and I look forward to creating many more keepsakes for years to come!

My Jenny ship christening bottle was used for this ceremony last month in New Orleans. Thank you to Manson Construction Co. for their commitment and dedication to this project. The FREDERICK PAUP is the largest self-propelled trailing suction hopper dredge that will support the future of U.S. commerce and national defense. We might even see it in the water around Mobile, Alabama! 🍾🚢
