Jackson Brothers of the North’s General Manager, Billy Dearing, had the opportunity to discuss the Buy Missouri Program with Lieutenant Governor David Wasinger. The Buy Missouri Program is an economic initiative supporting other Missouri businesses. While Jackson Brothers already participates in this program, we are always looking for additional opportunities to expand our support of local businesses.

As a Veteran-owned business, Jackson Brothers of the North would like to recognize Robert Sharp.

Robert has been providing exceptional Office Coffee Service in Mid-Missouri for several years. Along with his father and with the help of some friends, Robert has been raising money and cooking for veterans at Welcome Home (A Community for Veterans). He has smoked several pounds of meat and has raised enough money to provide an additional 6-7 meals, in the coming months.

He makes us proud by volunteering his time and talent to such a worthy cause. If you see Robert around Mid Missouri, be sure to thank him for going the extra mile.

Twenty-four years ago I left the restaurant business behind and began to build what would become "Jackson Brothers of the North." I loved being a chef, but the work was both mentally and physically taxing. My wife and I wanted to start a family. Working sixty to eighty hours per week and every weekend didn't seem like the best path forward.

I'm proud of the business we've built. We started working out of our basement with just two accounts and thirteen machines. Today, we service nearly 1000 machines and fifty markets in eighteen different Mid-Missouri counties.

One of my proudest achievements is being able to produce an elegant dining experience for charity. We've been supporting the Super Sam Foundation for several years, and we look forward to auctioning off this dining experience every year at the Hope Gala. Please join us next month as the Super Sam Foundation marks a "Decade of Building Hope."
