Getting married in Glacier National Park? Here are 5 things you NEED to know about your wedding permit.

Even tiny elopements and vow exchanges require a Special Use Permit in Glacier National Park. And there are a few rules you’ll want to know before planning your dream ceremony.

🐝 You need a Special Use Permit—even if it’s just the two of you.
🐝 The application fee is currently $125 and non-refundable.
🐝 You’ll choose from 32 pre-approved ceremony locations.
🐝 Your ceremony permit is limited to a 2-hour window.
🐝 Apply EARLY! Glacier recommends applying at least 4 weeks ahead, and processing can take longer during busy periods.

Getting married somewhere wild takes a little extra planning but THAT’S WHAT WE’RE HERE FOR. 😉

Want to have a two-day celebration where one day is spent with your favorite humans and the next is spent adventuring with your honey? Heck yes.

Thinking about a sparkler exit? What about jumping off a dock? What about BOTH?!

Want to wear hiking boots for the ceremony and change into Converse later? Love that for you.

For that tiny little voice in your head that says, “Wouldn’t it be cool if I...” we say:

When a group of people pulled over on the going to the sun road, it was definitely a sign!

We had decided to call it quits for photos, when I just had to pull over! The light was stunning and I just knew we would regret it if we didn’t stop! That’s when fate took over! This group of people drove by and asked if we wanted to take a picture with their awesome car… The answer is obvious.
