😭With my knee pain (torn meniscus and bone on bone) I’m unable to workout like I was before which means I have to pay attention to how much I eat now, for the first time in my life I didn’t count calories or worry about how much I ate (obviously I still ate healthy) but now it’s changed

I was burning😥💪 500-1000 calories a day with my walks and weight training. Now I’m lucky to walk for 5 minutes with out pain😩. And I’m still going to the gym but no where near as intense as I was. I’m seeing the scale go ⬆️ up and that discouraging to say the least. I know the scale doesn’t give a true and accurate picture of whats really going on, but I am human so its a daily thing to remind myself of this and I know its temporary 🥳

So I know things will get better and I’ll be back at it one day, but in the mean time, I’m paying closer attention to what I put in my pie hole 😊

Now it’s all about staying positive, having hope and not beating myself up or obsessing over the scale

My new favorite way to start my day is to make creative omelets, egg whites mainly…..lots of veggies and protein, they taste like heaven 🥦🥕🧅🧄🫜🫛🫑🍅🌶️🍠

I had run out of Greek yogurt so I blended cottage cheese with a little almond mild and viola! Almost like a cream sauce but with protein!

We all need to stop being hard on ourselves and just do the best you can do with what you have ♥️ I’m saying this because I’m guilty of it too! Good luck to anyone else going through this, there is power in numbers 🔥😊

It’s been a while… It feels like overnight I went from being a “doer”to a “sitter” started having pretty bad deep pain, not from doing anything in particular and found out my right knee is bone on bone and I have a meniscus tear. I’ve learned a lot through all of this, especially not to push myself as hard as I did, even though at the time, it felt great I didn’t know that my knee was slowly degenerating. Now I’m PRE-HABBING to get ready for hopefully a new knee… talk about humbling, but I see a good future ahead and I have a lot of hope more to come…♥️
